MONTEREY, CA. (Aug. xx, 2022) — The 2022 Monterey County Fair will introduce the El Jefe Tequila Cantina bar tent at this year’s Fair, set for Thursday through Monday, Sept. 1-5, 2022, at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center.
El Jefe Tequila Cantina, which will be open every day during the Fair during regular Fair hours, features three El Jefe Tequila Signature Cocktails, including event favorite Nitro Draft Margaritas, in an extended decorated tented bar area that will include a shaded area with picnic benches, string lights and streaming music daily.
The cantina will also feature a staged photo-op area, games, promotional giveaways and no cover charge to enter. The bar is located on the lower midway past the Racing Pigs location.
El Jefe Tequila is locally owned, award-winning, two-times distilled and is the Official Tequila of World Champion Boxer Jose Ramirez.
With a general admission ticket to the 2022 Monterey County Fair, you will have free access to all the entertainment the Fair has to offer this year, all concerts, magic, hypnosis, comedy and the always-popular racing pigs. Tickets to The Flying U Rodeo and the popular Mutton Bustin’ event, however, are separate from Fair admission, as is Friday night’s Ultimate Bull Fighting event, which has a $5 military ticket.
The Fair will be held at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center, 2004 Fairground Road, in Monterey. The theme of this year’s Fair is “Wool Meet Ewe at the Fair!”
