Yes! Kids Day is back at the 2026 Monterey County Fair. Monday, September 7, all children aged 6-12 are admitted free. Youth should be accompanied by an adult. Purchase general admission tickets here
For the first time, Short Track Motorcycle Racing is coming to the Monterey County Fair!
Head to Pattee Arena on Friday, September 4 at 4:00 PM for an action-packed afternoon of high-speed racing, tight turns and thrilling competition.
Presale arena tickets are $12 Adult GA, $5 Child GA, $18 Adult Box Seats and $7 Child Box Seats. Prices increase after August 31 and at the gate to $15 Adult GA, $8 Child GA, $20 Adult Box Seats and $10 Child Box Seats.

Yes, Thursday, September 3 we are offering free admission for Seniors (persons age 62 or greater), and Veterans personnel. Friday, September 4 are offering free admission for active military with valid ID. All military with valid ID receive presale pricing all week.
Special Fair Days: August 28 offers free admission for seniors 62+ and veterans, August 29 is free for military, and September 1 is Kids Day with free admission for children ages 6–12; plus, kids 5 and under are free every day of the Fair (valid ID required for veterans, seniors, and military). Yes! For 2026, the Monterey County Fair is implementing enhanced security measures at all entrances to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for every guest.
All attendees will pass through walk-through security screening gates upon entry, so please allow a little extra time when arriving. Guests are also encouraged to review the Fair’s Clear Bag Policy before heading to the Fairgrounds to help keep entry quick and easy.
