Admission Tickets can be purchased online at this link, or in-person during Fairtime at Gates 5
and 3.

If you would like to purchase a clear bag from the Monterey County Fair & Event Center, they can be purchased here and picked up at will-call near the Gate 5 main entrance during Fair.

Clear bags are also available for purchase at gates during the event for $10.

Monterey Pines Golf Course Parking is $25.00 per vehicle available all days of the Fair, Thursday – Monday. A golf cart shuttle service at this location is offered by Monterey Bay Veterans. Map link – click here

Yes, wristbands are on sale for $35 through August 27, online only. Price increases to $45 on August 28. Wristbands are valid for any single day during the fair. Some rides have height restrictions to ensure rider safety. Be sure to refer to the ride list and restrictions before making your purchase. Monterey County Fair Carnival Rides (click here).

Yes! Kids Day is back at the 2025 Monterey County Fair. Monday, September 1,, all children aged 6-12 are admitted free. Youth should be accompanied by an Adult. Purchase general admission tickets here.

Yes, Thursday, August 28th we are offering free admission for Seniors (persons age 62 or greater), and Veterans personnel. Friday, August 29th, we are offering free admission for active military with valid ID. All military with valid ID receive presale pricing all Week.

Special Fair Days: August 28 offers free admission for seniors 62+ and veterans, August 29 is free for military, and September 1 is Kids Day with free admission for children ages 6–12; plus, kids 5 and under are free every day of the Fair (valid ID required for veterans, seniors, and military). Military with valid ID receive presale pricing all week.

Yes, it will! Our 2025 Jr. Livestock Auction will occur at 10 am on August 30. Several livestock shows will take place in the livestock area during the Fair. The barns will be available for patron walk-through with limited hours (12 p.m. – 9 p.m.). For the full livestock show schedule, please click here.

Yes, Flying U Rodeo will have one performance at 6:30 PM on Friday and Saturday and two performances on Sunday at 3 PM and 6:30 PM. Rodeo performances on Friday and Saturday are free with Fair admission. Sunday Rodeo admission is $14 per adult, $7 per child (ages 6-12) and children under 5 years of age are free. Box seat tickets on all days are $17, and must be bought for all seats regardless of age. Children 5 and under are not exempt from $17 box seat ticket fee.
