MCFHF Board added a new director to its board – Andrew J. Williams from Salinas

Date

At its March 16, 2022 Meeting, the MCFHF Board added a new director to its board – Andrew J. Williams from Salinas. Andrew has served on several non-profit boards in the area and is an active 4-H parent to three children who participate in the Salinas Valley, Monterey County, and San Benito County fairs.

He was born and raised on a cow calf operation in San Luis Obispo county, attended their local schools, and has supported fairs since his youth. Andrew understands the needs required in supporting our youth’s engagement in various projects, especially those that are ag-related.

Andrew is an alumni of Cal Poly, where he studied Ag Business. He currently works for SFCOS as their Business Director of Safety, Food Safety, and Human Resources. He previously worked at Fresh Express, as the Director of Ag Operations. In his spare time, Andrew has served on the Board at Titus Park since 2012 (as its President since 2015), and has been a parent volunteer at the Spring 4-H Pancake Breakfast.
When asked about his interest in possibly serving on the MCFHF Board, Andrew quickly replied, “Yes”. We now proudly welcome our newest Board Member, Andrew J. Williams.
