Employment Opportunities at Fair Exhibits Offered for 2023 Monterey County Fair

MONTEREY, CA. (Dec 17, 2022) — The Monterey County Fair is seeking applicants for positions at its exhibits for the Fair.

 

Positions available include:

  1. Home Arts Superintendent — works on setting up the building, receiving and entry pick-up Fair time entries, sitting in the building during the Fair and answering questions, as well as editing the Home Arts section of the Entry Guide.
  2. Volunteer Chair — The Fair relies on many volunteers during the 5-day run as well as setting up and taking down the exhibit buildings. The Volunteer Chair will coordinate the volunteers for various departments to help out in the buildings for setting up and taking down the entries.
  3. Ag Education/School Tours — The Monterey County Fair hosts school tours during the fair and are led around the fair to visit the animals, exhibits, and rodeo.
  4. Special Days Coordinator — Coordinate with the Senior Day/Military Day/Kids Day events such as Senior Fair & Military day vendors.
