MONTEREY, CA. (Aug. xx, 2018) — Three Grand Prize winners and 12 runners-up of the 2018 Monterey County Fair’s Coloring Contest have been announced.

Grand Prize winners receive a Family Fun Pack for four to the Fair, which includes 2 adult tickets, 2 youth tickets and 36 ride coupons along with a complimentary parking pass. The 12 runner-up winners in each category win two tickets to the Fair.

The winners in each of the three age categories are:
1. Up to 6 years old

2. 7 to 9 years old
First place: Samara Albitar

3. 10 to 12 years old
First place: Mejka McMullen

All entries will be displayed in the Junior Art building during the Fair, which will be held Aug. 30-Sept. 3, 2018, at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center, 2004 Fairground Road in Monterey. The Fair’s theme this year is “Shake Your Tail Feathers.”
