The Monterey County Fair & Event Center is nestled on 22 oak studded acres in the City of Monterey. With over 30,000 square feet of indoor banquet space, a variety of outdoor areas and a professional and experienced staff, the Monterey Fairgrounds is the perfect venue for private events of all sizes.
In addition to our banquet halls, the Monterey County Fair & Event Center also has many beautiful outdoor options for your special event. Photo opportunities abound everywhere you turn in our versatile surroundings. Options include:
BARNS – Dressed up or dressed down, a barn creates a special charm.
MANICURED LAWNS ‑ Provide the ideal setting for outdoor banquets, ceremonies, picnics and barbecues. The lawn area can also be tented to create that perfect setting.
POND AREA – Dine or picnic beneath the shade of the beautiful oak trees!
CARNIVAL LOT – Can accommodate a large tent or additional event parking.
People enjoy attending music and food festivals, fairs and fundraisers at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center because of its 22 acres of beautiful lawns surrounded by oak trees.
Now you can take advantage of the picturesque location by holding your wedding ceremony outside on the grounds. For a fee of $300 you can rent an outdoor space (seating additional) for the ceremony to go along with a choice of more than 30,000 square feet of indoor banquet space for your reception.
