“What is it?”
Jurassic Quest is an immersive traveling dinosaur event that features an entire herd of life-size dinosaurs that move and roar! We set up the dinosaurs in scenes that reflect the habitat that paleontologists believe they lived in. Jurassic Quest is one of the first indoor family edutainment shows to re-launch since March 2020 due to the pandemic and is mounting its most beloved and unique experiences for the whole family including life-like dinosaurs, dinosaur themed rides, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a “Triceratots” soft play area for our littlest explorers, bounce houses and inflatable attractions (socks required), photo opportunities, and more.
“What is special about your event? How is this different from other dinosaur events?”
Jurassic Quest features dinosaurs AND aquatic reptiles – including our 50-foot long Megalodon in the Ancient Oceans exhibit! Besides the fact we are the largest event of our kind and the most scientifically accurate, we have life-like baby dinosaurs that interact and play and a Raptor Training Experience. The babies come out to visit throughout our event and are definitely one of the highlights of our exhibit. You won’t be able to meet these dinosaurs anywhere but Jurassic Quest!
“How did this all get started?”
Jurassic Quest has been entertaining families since 2013, but every year, we have grown into a bigger and better show. This year was no different, and we are so happy that we have been able to bring education and fun to people during the pandemic.
“How long have you guys been doing this?”
Jurassic Quest has been touring the U.S. for approximately 9 years.
“What is the biggest dinosaur in Jurassic Quest? How were the dinosaurs on view selected?”
The biggest dinosaur is either our Apatosaurus or our Megalodon, although he’s a shark, not a dinosaur! Still, people come out just to see him, measuring at 50 feet & that’s not even full grown! We include the most popular and interesting dinosaurs in our exhibit – fan favorites include our towering T.-rex and sky-scraping Spinosaurus!
“How do we get tickets?”
Tickets start at $19 at www.jurassicquest.com or on-site and include a 100% ticket guarantee that in the event of a show cancellation or postponement for any reason, ticket purchases will be automatically refunded for the full purchase amount. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged. Guests can walk through the dinosaur experience at their own pace, and strollers are permitted.
General admission tickets include access to the dinosaur and marine exhibits, arts and crafts activities, and dinosaur shows. There are rides and activities that require activity tickets available on site, or guests can upgrade to the Kids Unlimited Admissions ticket (the best value for children ages 2-10). Entry is free for children under age 2.
“What activities can families expect to experience at Jurassic Quest?”
Loved by millions, only Jurassic Quest can bring families memories this BIG! The Jurassic Quest herd of animatronic dinos – from the largest predators to playful baby dinos – are displayed in realistic scenes with some that move and roar, allowing guests to experience them as they were when they roamed the earth billions of years ago. Jurassic Quest works in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur is painstakingly replicated in every detail, from coloration to teeth size, to textured skin, fur or feathers, drawing on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs and ancient giants of the sea looked and moved.
“How have you adapted the event with regard to COVID?”
Jurassic Quest works closely with our venue partners to adjust our COVID-19 related protocols accordingly, as city and state requirements are unique. We advise our guests to please check the venue website to review venue policies, including face covering and entry requirements.
